Successful applicant will have experience in cross country or alpine grooming in Piston Bulley, Bombardier and LMC cats. Duties include: grooming 5 days per week. Shifts will be either morning or evening. 12 $ per hour.

12 - Ski Patrols - full time, seasonal position
Successful applicant must have current E.M.T. or international equivalent and medical experience in cold mountain environments. Experience in snowmobiling is preferred. Duties include: first aid response to all accidents, sweeping of ski trails, set up and break down of Ski Area, accident reporting and filing and supervision of part-time patrollers, lift operators and parking attendants. Must be in good physical condition, be able to lift 50 pounds, work outdoors in all types of weather and react as trained in emergency situations. References and certifications required.$8/hr

4 -Ski School -Cross Country- full time, seasonal position
Successful applicant will possess internationally recognized ski certification and have a minimum of two years experience in ski instruction. Duties include: ski instruction, training of part-time ski school staff, participation in Ski Patrol sweeps, rental and retail shop assistance and event facilitation. Must be an ambassador for the Royal Gorge ski school in technique and manner. References required $8/hr

8 - 1st aid qualification Ski Guides - full time, seasonal position
Successful applicant will possess internationally recognized ski certification and have a minimum of two years experience in ski instruction. Duties include: ski instruction,  leading guided ski tours, assist guests with luggage.  Must be an ambassador for the Royal Gorge ski school in technique and manner. References required $65 / day


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is the United States offering H-2B 6-month work visas?
When there is not a sufficient pool of United States workers US employers have requested to bring overseas workers through the department of Labor to fill these positions under the category of an H-2B Visa.

Do I pay for my own travel expenses ?
Yes, you will organize and pay for your return air ticket.

Can I pick the city where I wish to work ?
No, we cannot promise to place you in your preferred city; we are restricted to positions and cities that are available at the time.

How many hours a week will I work ?
Your working week will be an average of 35 - 40 hours per week (hours can vary depending on season or hotel occupancy)

How much will I get paid ?
The wages range between US $ 7.00 an hour, overtime US $ 9.00 an hour

How much tax will I pay ?
Federal tax will be refunded to you in total at the end of the tax year.  You will need to pay your own Income tax and lodge your return at end of the program.  City tax is applicable at between $500 - $800 US per annum.

Do I need medical insurance?
It is not compulsory but it is advisable to take out medical insurance for your time in the USA.  You have the option of arranging you own in your home country.

Where will I stay when I arrive?
The Hotels or Resorts will arrange accommodation for you and this will be deducted from your weekly wage.  Housing is about US $ 75.00 - US $100 per week and consists of shared two or three bedroom fully furnished apartments (utilities are included except for phone calls).

Do I get a uniform and meals provided ?
Some positions will include a free uniform. Mostly staff cafeteria provides food for $3.00 per meal during your working shift.

Can I change Hotels during the 5-6 months?
No, you can however reapply for another Hotel in a different area after the completion of a 6 month contract.  You will need to get in contact with KINGSBROOK USA Inc. to do the process.

Can I take my spouse/family ?
NO, a person who has received a visa H2b must travel alone to the USA.

Can I stay in the USA after my H-2B visa has expired ?
Yes, for a maximum of 30 days after the contract is completed, unless you are rolled over to another property.

What does the medical examination consist of ?
All employees will be subjected to a drug test on arrival at their place of employment according to USA law.

What is the Police Clearance?
You will need to apply to any police station in you country/city of residence.

Do I pay for the H-2B Visa endorsement cost to the US consulate?
Yes, there is an application fee of  100 USD payable to the US Consulate (check what it is for you in your home country)
